Privacy Policy

RETRP operates retrp.com as a custom LED neon design and ordering website for individuals, event planners and trade buyers. Standard-size orders are paid at checkout. The inquiry form is used for non-standard sizes, complex logos and wholesale OEM. There is no customer account system.
The website operator is responsible for checkout order records and the structured quote-request records described below. The contracting seller and its contact details are identified at checkout or in every written quotation before an order is accepted. Privacy requests can be sent to sales@retrp.com.
The short version
- This site sets no cookies by default and runs no analytics or advertising trackers.
- When you place a standard-size order, checkout processes the payment and the contact details needed to fulfil it.
- When you press Save request & open WhatsApp, the quote-request fields are stored on the RETRP server before WhatsApp opens.
- If you selected artwork, that file uploads at the same time and is linked to the request reference. It is not made public.
- WhatsApp then shows a pre-filled draft on your device; that WhatsApp message is not sent until you tap Send.
- The stored fields are used only to identify and respond to the quotation request.
Information you choose to send us
A saved quote request may include your name or project, quantity, delivery city or postcode, needed-by date, WhatsApp number, optional email address, design choices, notes and an artwork file you chose to attach. We use it solely to:
- prepare and send you the quotation you asked for;
- follow up on that quotation and answer design questions;
- maintain appropriate records if the discussion leads to an order.
We process personal data to fulfil orders and respond to inquiries. Where UK GDPR applies, our lawful bases under Article 6 are performance of a contract or taking steps at your request prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b)) and our legitimate interest in responding to trade inquiries (Art. 6(1)(f)).
WhatsApp and Meta
If you contact us on WhatsApp, your message is transmitted through WhatsApp (Meta Platforms) under WhatsApp's own terms and privacy policy. The "WhatsApp inquiry" buttons on this site only open a pre-filled draft in your WhatsApp app; the site itself does not read your WhatsApp data. A WhatsApp routing check may briefly contact our messaging gateway (wa.retretos.com) to select an available business number; this request is not used to build any profile of you and no persistent identifier is stored on your device.
Email sent to sales@retrp.com is routed via Cloudflare Email Routing to our inquiry desk. Cloudflare processes the message metadata needed to deliver it, as a processor under its own data processing terms.
Cookies, local storage and tracking
- We do not set cookies by default and do not use analytics, advertising or social-media trackers.
- The site stores no persistent visitor identifier in your browser.
- Because no consent-requiring storage or tracking technology is used, no cookie banner is shown (see the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations — PECR — regulation 6: consent is only required where information is stored on or read from your device beyond what is strictly necessary).
- If analytics are ever enabled for your market in future, a consent banner will ask you first, and nothing non-essential will be set unless you accept.
How long we keep information
Structured website quote-request records and attached artwork are configured to be deleted after no more than 730 days. Unlinked temporary uploads are automatically removed. WhatsApp, email and order correspondence may be retained for as long as needed to handle the request, an order and any applicable commercial or tax record-keeping obligations.
Disclosure
We do not sell personal information. We disclose it only to: our messaging and email infrastructure providers (as described above), professional advisers where necessary, and authorities where the law requires it.
Your rights (UK GDPR)
You have the right to request access to, correction of, or erasure of your personal information, the right to object to or restrict our processing, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at sales@retrp.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) — ico.org.uk.
International transfers
If you contact us from outside the United States, or our team operates outside the US, your correspondence may be processed in another country. Where UK GDPR applies to such transfers, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Agreement or adequacy regulations.

We may update this policy from time to time; the "Last updated" date above reflects the latest revision.
